Academic & Teaching Portfolio

Hi, my name is Zea (“Z”) Miller, and I graduated from Purdue University in 2017 with a PhD in English, specializing in theory and cultural studies, semantics, and semiotics.

My research interests include science fiction, structuralism, genre theory, and philosophy.

I am currently a visiting instructor at the University of South Florida, where I teach first-year composition.

I am also the project manager for the Center for Cognition and Neuroethics at the University of Michigan-Flint, where I oversee production of the Journal of Cognition and Neuroethics.
